Print & Digital

Empower your middle school students to demonstrate their understanding of the law of conservation of mass with these student-led, creative choice projects, aligned with 2021 TEKS standard 8.6E.
This flexible, engaging resource allows students to select a project format that best fits their learning and output style, giving them ownership of their learning while showcasing their knowledge in unique and meaningful ways.

The project choice board features six student-led options plus a “design your own” project for students who want to extend their creativity.
An editable grading rubric makes assessment simple for teachers, peers, or students themselves, focusing on vocabulary, conceptual understanding, clarity, and presentation.

Flexible, Creative, and Student-Centered

These Student Choice Projects are built for flexibility and differentiation, making them ideal for a variety of learning environments and student needs.
Teachers can easily modify the rubric to match grading preferences, while students select multimodal project formats—written, visual, digital, or hands-on—to express their learning.

This structure encourages critical thinking, creativity, and engagement, all while supporting diverse learners and fostering independent, student-led learning.
