Changes in Matter Station Lab - New TEKS 7.6C
Keep your middle school students engaged, curious, and learning with this modular, student-led activity on changes in matter, aligned with TEKS 2021 standard 7.6C.
This ready-to-use resource saves you hours of prep time while empowering students to take ownership of their learning through interactive, hands-on experiences.
In this station lab, students will distinguish between physical and chemical changes in matter, applying their understanding through a variety of multimodal activities.
Perfect for both in-class and virtual learning, this flexible lesson fits seamlessly into your physical science curriculum.
Differentiated, Modular, and Student-Led
Each station lab includes nine differentiated activities designed to create a personalized learning experience for every student.
In this student-centered approach, the teacher acts as a facilitator, guiding learning rather than directing it.
All nine modular stations include signage, reading materials, resources, and task cards, giving students everything they need to work independently or in small groups.
The Explore It! station may require a few common classroom materials already available in your lab.
