Mitosis & Meiosis Station Lab - MS

This modular, student-led activity will keep your middle schoolers engaged while exploring cell division through mitosis and meiosis. With ready-to-use materials and a flexible design, you’ll save a ton of prep time while empowering students to take charge of their learning.

In this interactive lab, students will learn to identify and compare the characteristics of mitosis and meiosis through a variety of hands-on and digital activities.

Each station lab features eight differentiated activities plus one challenge station, giving every learner a personalized experience. In this student-centered structure, the teacher acts as a facilitator while students work independently or collaboratively in small groups.

All signage, passages, resources, and task cards are included, so the lab is easy to set up and run. The Explore It! station may require a few simple lab materials you likely already have on hand.
