Thermal Equilibrium - Student Choice Projects, MS, New TEKS 7.8B
This project-based lesson helps middle school students meet the 2021 TEKS 7.8B standard by exploring the concept of thermal equilibrium. Using a choice board, students select from six structured project options or create their own through a “design your own” pathway, allowing them to demonstrate mastery in a format that best matches their skills, creativity, and learning style.
An editable grading rubric is included, which can be used for teacher evaluation, peer review, or self-assessment. The rubric can also be modified to align with classroom or district grading requirements, making assessment flexible and consistent.
