Temperature & Kinetic Energy - Student Choice Projects, MS, New TEKS 7.8C
This project-based lesson helps middle school students meet the 2021 TEKS 7.8C standard by exploring the relationship between temperature and kinetic energy. Using a choice board, students select from six structured project options or create their own through a “design your own” pathway, giving them flexibility in how they demonstrate mastery of the concept.
An editable grading rubric is included, allowing for evaluation by teachers, peers, or the students themselves. The rubric can also be modified to meet classroom or district grading needs.
