
Circulatory System Functions - Student Choice Projects- MS, New TEKS 7.13A
This project-based lesson helps middle school students meet the 2021 TEKS 7.13A standard by exploring the functions of the circulatory system. A choice board provides six structured project options plus a “design your own” pathway, giving students the freedom to demonstrate mastery in the format that best matches their strengths, creativity, and learning style.
An editable grading rubric is included and can be used for teacher evaluation, peer review, or student self-assessment. The rubric is fully customizable, allowing teachers to adapt it to meet classroom or district grading requirements.

This design ensures the activity can be adapted to meet the needs of all learners within the same classroom.
Supplies Needed
Projects are designed for completion with basic classroom materials such as paper, markers, and scissors. Many projects can also be completed digitally, and optional craft supplies may be incorporated for hands-on model-building or other creative tasks.
This is a finished product; it will be updated with corrections as needed. Future improvements and new features will be sold as a separate product.
