Newton's Second Law of Motion Station Lab- New TEKS 8.7A
This modular, student-led activity is fully aligned with TEKS 2021 standard 8.7A and helps middle school students explore Newton’s Second Law of Motion in depth. With everything ready to go, you’ll save a ton of prep time while empowering students to direct their own learning.
In this interactive lab, students will calculate and analyze how acceleration depends on the net force acting on an object and its mass. Designed for flexibility, it works seamlessly for both in-class and virtual learning.
Differentiated, Modular, and Student-Centered
Each lab includes nine differentiated stations that allow students to learn at their own pace and in their own style. Teachers serve as facilitators, while students take charge of their investigations—working independently or in small groups.
All signage, passages, resources, and task cards are included. The Explore It! station may require a few simple materials you likely already have on hand.
