This modular, student-led activity is fully aligned with TEKS 2021 standard 7.7D and gives middle school students multiple ways to explore and apply Newton’s First Law of Motion. With everything included, you’ll save a ton of prep time while empowering students to take ownership of their learning.

In this interactive lab, students will analyze the effects of balanced and unbalanced forces on the state of motion of an object using Newton’s First Law. Designed for flexibility, it’s perfect for in-class or virtual learning.

Differentiated, Modular, and Student-Centered

Each station lab includes nine activities that give students a personalized learning experience. Teachers guide and facilitate while students work independently or in small groups to investigate and apply the law of inertia.
