Engage your middle school students with creative, student-led projects that explore biotic and abiotic competition in ecosystems! This resource covers TEKS 6.12A and allows students to choose from a variety of project options—including a “design your own” pathway—so they can demonstrate their understanding in ways that fit their learning style. From illustrating and writing to building, presenting, or creating digitally, these projects give students ownership over their learning.
An editable rubric is included for easy grading and can also be used for peer or self-assessment, helping students reflect on their progress and mastery.
