Natural & Artificial Selection Station Lab - New 2021 TEKS 7.13D
This modular, student-led activity on natural and artificial selection keeps middle schoolers actively engaged while mastering key life science concepts. Fully differentiated and easy to implement, this resource saves you hours of prep time and encourages students to take ownership of their learning.
In this hands-on station lab, students will describe and provide examples of how natural and artificial selection change the occurrence of traits in a population over generations. Perfect for both in-class and virtual learning, the included materials are designed to support independent and collaborative work.
DIFFERENTIATED • MODULAR • STUDENT-LED
Each lab features nine flexible stations that guide students through a multimodal learning experience. The teacher acts as a facilitator while students explore, investigate, and demonstrate understanding at their own pace.
All signage, readings, resources, and task cards are included. The Explore It! station may require a few basic classroom materials you already have on hand.
