This Organism Relationships Student Choice Projects lesson allows middle school students to choose a project that best fits their learning and output style. The project page outlines six different student-led project options and includes a “design your own” project for added creativity. A flexible grading rubric supports evaluation by teachers, peers, or students themselves.

Supplies Needed
The Student Choice Projects are designed to use common classroom materials such as paper, markers, and scissors. Many projects can be completed digitally, making them ideal for in-class or virtual learning. Optional crafting materials may be helpful for building models or visual displays.
