Big Bang Theory Station Lab - MS
This modular, student-led activity is the perfect way to keep your middle schoolers engaged while exploring the origin of the universe. With everything included, you’ll save a ton of prep time while giving students the chance to direct their own learning.
In this interactive lab, students will research how scientific data are used as evidence to develop scientific theories—specifically the Big Bang Theory. Designed for flexibility, this resource works seamlessly in both in-class and virtual learning environments.
Texas Teachers: This resource aligns with the 2017 TEKS (not updated for the 2021 TEKS).
Differentiated, Modular, and Student-Centered
Each lab includes eight differentiated activities plus a bonus challenge station, creating a personalized learning experience for all students. Teachers guide and facilitate while students work independently or in small groups to explore space science concepts.
All signage, passages, task cards, and resources are provided. The Explore It! station may require a few simple classroom materials you likely already have on hand.
