Asteroids, Meteors, & Comets Station Lab
This modular, student-led activity will keep your middle school students engaged while exploring objects in space. With everything included, you’ll save a ton of prep time while giving students the opportunity to take ownership of their learning.
In this interactive lab, students will describe the physical properties, location, and movements of asteroids, meteors, and comets. Designed for flexibility, this resource works seamlessly for both in-class and virtual learning.
Texas Teachers: This station lab aligns with the 2017 TEKS (not updated for the 2021 TEKS).
Differentiated, Modular, and Student-Centered
Each station lab includes eight core activities plus a bonus challenge station, giving every learner a personalized experience. Students work independently or in small groups while teachers guide and facilitate instead of directing every step.
All signage, readings, and task cards are provided. The Explore It! station may require a few simple classroom materials you likely already have on hand.
