Plate Tectonics Station Lab - MS
This student-led, modular station lab engages middle school students in learning about plate tectonics by identifying the major tectonic plates and building a foundation for understanding Earth’s dynamic surface. Through hands-on, digital, and written activities, students direct their own learning while teachers take on the role of facilitator.
The resource is designed to save prep time, with ready-to-use materials that allow for differentiated instruction and independent or small-group learning.
Note for Texas teachers: This resource aligns with the 2017 TEKS and will not be updated for the 2021 standards.
