Oceans Station Lab - MS
This student-led, modular station lab helps middle school students explore the importance of ocean systems by examining both human dependence on oceans and the impacts of human activities. Students rotate through a variety of multimodal stations designed to promote active learning, inquiry, and creativity.
The resource minimizes teacher prep time with ready-to-use materials and encourages students to direct their own learning. Teachers facilitate rather than lead each step, supporting a more student-centered classroom.
Note for Texas teachers: This resource aligns with the 2017 TEKS and will not be updated for the 2021 standards.
