
Weathering, Erosion, & Deposition - Student Choice Projects - MS
This project-based lesson gives middle school students the opportunity to demonstrate their understanding of weathering, erosion, and deposition through student-directed projects. A choice board presents six structured project options along with a “design your own” pathway, encouraging students to showcase their learning in the format that best matches their skills and creativity.
An editable grading rubric is included and can be used for teacher evaluation, peer assessment, or self-assessment. The rubric is fully customizable to fit your grading system or classroom needs.

Differentiation
Two versions of the project page are provided:

This flexible structure makes it easy to meet the needs of a wide range of learners.
Supplies Needed
Projects are designed for completion with common classroom supplies such as paper, markers, and scissors. Many can also be completed digitally, while optional craft supplies may be incorporated for model-building or other hands-on extensions.
