
Differentiate Earth's Spheres - Student Choice Projects, MS, New TEKS 6.10A
This resource helps middle school students meet the 2021 TEKS 6.10A standard by demonstrating their understanding of Earth’s spheres through student-directed projects. The choice board offers six structured options plus a “design your own” project, allowing learners to select the format that best fits their skills and interests.
A flexible grading rubric is included and can be applied by teachers, peers, or students themselves. The rubric is editable, so it can be adjusted to meet classroom or district grading requirements.

Differentiation
Two versions of the project page are provided:

Modified version: Three project options are scaffolded to support students who need additional help

Extension opportunities: Teachers may assign multiple projects for advanced students while using the same rubric for consistency
Supplies Needed
Projects are designed to use standard classroom materials such as paper, markers, and scissors. Many projects can also be completed digitally, and optional craft supplies may be incorporated for more hands-on project formats.
This is a finished product; it will be updated with corrections as needed. Future improvements and new features will be sold as a separate product.
