Excretory System - Student Choice Projects - MS
This project-based lesson helps middle school students demonstrate their understanding of the excretory system through student-directed projects. A choice board outlines six structured options along with a “design your own” pathway, giving students the flexibility to showcase their knowledge in the format that best suits their strengths, creativity, and learning style.
An editable grading rubric is included and can be used for teacher assessment, peer review, or self-assessment. The rubric is fully customizable, allowing teachers to adapt it to classroom or district expectations.
What’s Included
-
Choice Board: Nine project options, including a “design your own” project
-
Teacher Directions Page: Tips and support for implementation

Differentiation
Two versions of the project page are provided to meet diverse learning needs:
-
