Comparing Organisms - Student Choice Projects, MS, New TEKS 6.13B
This project-based lesson supports the 2021 TEKS 6.13B standard by helping middle school students compare organisms within major groups based on internal structures, functions, and behaviors. A choice board offers six structured project options plus a “design your own” pathway, giving students the flexibility to show what they know in a way that highlights their strengths, creativity, and learning style.
An editable grading rubric is included and can be used for teacher evaluation, peer review, or self-assessment. The rubric is fully customizable, making it easy to adapt to specific classroom or district grading needs.
What’s Included
