Calculating Net Force Station Lab New TEKS 6.7B

This modular, student-led activity is fully aligned with TEKS 2021 standard 6.7B and is designed to keep your middle schoolers engaged while learning about forces and motion. With everything included, you’ll save a ton of prep time while giving students the opportunity to direct their own learning.

In this interactive lab, students will calculate the net force on an object in horizontal or vertical directions using diagrams and determine whether the forces are balanced or unbalanced. Perfect for both in-class and virtual learning!

Differentiated, Modular, and Student-Centered

Each lab includes nine stations that create a personalized learning experience for every student. Teachers act as facilitators while students explore, apply, and demonstrate knowledge independently or in small groups.

All signage, readings, task cards, and resources are included. The Explore It! station may require a few basic materials you likely already have in your classroom.
