Objects in the Solar System Station Lab - New TEKS 7.9A
This modular, student-led activity is fully aligned with TEKS 2021 standard 7.9A and will keep your middle schoolers engaged while exploring the fascinating objects in our solar system. With everything included, you’ll save a ton of prep time while giving students ownership of their learning.
In this interactive lab, students will describe the physical properties, locations, and movements of the Sun, planets, moons, meteors, asteroids, comets, the Kuiper Belt, and the Oort Cloud. Designed for flexibility, this resource is perfect for both in-class and virtual learning.
Differentiated, Modular, and Student-Centered
Each lab includes nine differentiated stations, allowing students to create a personalized learning experience. Teachers facilitate learning while students work independently or in small groups.
All signage, resources, and task cards are included. The Explore It! station may require a few simple materials already available in most classrooms.
