The Humans & Ocean Systems Student Choice Projects allow middle school students to demonstrate their understanding of how human activities impact ocean systems—through a project that best matches their preferred learning and output style.

Students choose from six different project options or design their own creative project. A flexible grading rubric supports assessment by teachers, peers, or students themselves, encouraging reflection and ownership of learning.

Two versions of the project choice board are included:

Supplies Needed

The Student Choice Projects are designed to work with common classroom materials such as paper, markers, and scissors. Most projects can also be completed digitally, and students may use simple crafting materials to create models or visual displays.

This is a finished product; it will be updated with corrections as needed. Future improvements and new features will be sold as a separate product.
